NETSHe-5.0 is out!
We are pleased to announce NETSHe version 5 after around one year of development.
Main improvements in version 5 are:
Documentation is updated according to the actual TDMA implementation.
Document can be found at http://www.netshe.ru/files/doc/en/TDMA_brief_en.pdf
We glad to announce the first beta for NETSHe-4.0.
Firmware images has updated wireless stack and some little changes in the WebUI.
Wireless stack has:
- new polling extension for TDMA modes which makes utilization of timeslot more efficiency and reduce latency;
- unique mesh protocol for TDMA which is designed to support load balancing, link adaptation and mobility.
Test images can be downloaded at http://www.netshe.ru/files/NETSHe.testing/
Documentation will be updated soon.
Our deputies will be at Computex 2015 exhibition in Taibei from 4th to 10th June.
To schedule the meeting, please contact us at info@netshe-lab.ru
Will meet at Computex!
NETSHe Lab. continues improvement of own TDMA for WiFi solution.
Today we publishes test results and comparison with standard CSMA/CA mode (http://www.netshe.ru/files/doc/en/test_result_20042015.pdf) for installation in point to multipoint site.
5/10MHz channel widths.
NETSHe Lab has tested own firmware and wireless stack extensions with real link in 450MHz band with Doodle Labs DL435-30 (http://www.doodlelabs.com/products/radio-transceivers/sub-ghz-range/420-...) radios.
NETSHe Lab Ltd continues product improvement.
As a result of 6 month's work, We are glad to present new TDMA for WiFi implementation.
If describe new release in a some words, it is faster, flexible and durable.
In a new release, We kept all positive points of previous implementation - excellent adaptability to the very noised environments and long distance links, and made the product better.
We reduced latency and improved throughput up to 50%.
We are glad to present documentation about our TDMA implementation.
Document can be found at http://www.netshe.ru/files/doc/en/TDMA_brief_en.pdf
Currently, our TDMA extension supports only Atheros-based radios (through ath5k and ath9k drivers).
Whole time when we create first TDMA implementation, we dreamed to have TDMA support for different radios.
And while we have ported our code to the new compat-wireless branch....
We have implemented the TDMA extension for some Realtek-based radios (for the rtlwifi-supported radios).
The implementation is under the laboratory testing now. We use rtl8723ae radios for testing.
The first results are promising.
