Test results for point to multipoint site and TDMA for WiFi

NETSHe Lab. continues improvement of own TDMA for WiFi solution.

Today we publishes test results and comparison with standard CSMA/CA mode (http://www.netshe.ru/files/doc/en/test_result_20042015.pdf) for installation in point to multipoint site.

5/10MHz channel widths.

As it was shown in reports for point to point installation, the TDMA for WiFi solution has maximal efficiency for 5 and 10MHz channel widths.
For point to multipoint installations, TDMA mode with group (bulk) acknowledgements shows best TCP throughput for any number of nodes.
This mode has better UDP throughput for networks with three and more nodes.

TDMA mode with individual acknowledgements has better (than CSMA/CA mode) throughput for networks with three and more nodes.
This mode will have best TCP and UDP throughput in networks with more than 5 nodes.

20MHz channel width.

The results for TDMA with group (bulk) acknowledgements and CSMA/CA mode are very similar. TDMA shows a little bit better results for TCP tests for 3, 4 and 5 nodes, but CSMA/CA shows better UDP results for 2,3 and 4 nodes.
TDMA mode with individual acknowledgements has best scalability and we wait that this mode will have close or better results (in comparison with CSMA/CA and TDMA BA) for networks with more than 5 nodes.
